  • Do you offer mini sessions?
On occasion, I do hold mini sessions! When active mini sessions are available, you will find a separate tab on my website where you can book and discover more details. You are welcome to book a full session, or you can wait for any upcoming specials to appear. I prioritize providing a high-quality, personalized experience for each client, so I generally encourage full sessions to ensure I capture all the details and moments you're hoping for.
  • Do you travel?
Yes, I offer photography services outside of Murrieta, California. However, if the location is farther than a three-hour radius from Murrieta, we will need to arrange for lodging and/or airfare & transportation. Please send me an email and we can discuss options. I believe that every special moment deserves to be captured, no matter where it takes place. I am willing to travel to your desired location to capture your memories and create images that you will cherish for a lifetime.
  • Do you offer wedding photography services??
Yes! I am pleased to offer wedding photography. I understand that your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and I am honored to document it through photography. My focus is on capturing the authentic and intimate moments that make your wedding day unique. I strive to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, so you can be yourself and feel comfortable in front of the camera. Please visit my weddings tab on my website to learn more about my wedding photography services and view some of my previous work.
  • What should I wear for my session?
Your outfit choice can make a big difference in how your portraits turn out, so it's important to put some thought into it. I provide electronic guides for all of my clients that include outfit recommendations and styling tips based on previous sessions. It's always a good idea to stick to solid colors or subtle patterns, avoid loud prints or logos, and choose clothing that flatters your body type. For group or family sessions, coordinating colors or a theme can also look great. I am available for consultation on attire choices and am happy to provide guidance to ensure that you look and feel your best on the day of your session.
  • When is the best time to do a session?
Golden hour is a term used to describe the hour before sunset when the light is softer and warmer, creating a beautiful golden glow. I love shooting during golden hour as it enhances the overall look of my portraits. If you're looking to schedule a portrait session with me, I highly recommend booking a time slot an hour before sunset to take advantage of the beautiful golden light and achieve stunning results. I am flexible with scheduling and offer sunrise sessions in addition to traditional golden hour sessions. Many families with young children prefer these early morning sessions, especially during the summer when it can be hot later in the day. However, golden hour is always recommended for the most optimal lighting conditions.
  • Do you offer any discounts on your sessions?
Unfortunately, I do not offer any discounts. However, I do understand that photography can be a significant investment, and I want to make it as accessible as possible for all of my clients. That's why I offer payment plans, allowing you to pay for your photography sessions in installments rather than all at once. The payment plans are designed to be flexible and can be tailored to your budget and needs. I believe that my clients should be able to have access to beautiful and professional portraits without compromising on quality or style, and payment plans are how I strive to make that happen.
  • Do you take payment plans for your sessions?
Yes. I understand that unforeseen expenses can arise and I am more than happy to work with you. Simply reach out to me with your situation, and I will make every effort to come up with a payment plan that works for you. As long as the remaining balance after the retainer is paid off 72 hours before your session, I can accommodate your budgetary needs. I want to make your portrait photography experience as stress-free as possible.
  • How much time are we allowed at our session?
My portrait sessions typically last between one to two hours, depending on the type of session and your preferences. This gives us ample time to capture a variety of poses and expressions, as well as allows for wardrobe changes or location variations. I understand that each client is unique, and I will work with you to create a personalized session that meets your needs and expectations. Before your shoot, we'll discuss the details of your session to ensure that we're both on the same page regarding the time frame, location, and type of portraits you're looking for. My goal is to provide you with a relaxed and enjoyable experience while capturing beautiful and timeless portraits that you'll cherish for years to come.
  • Do I need to pay a retainer or sign a contract before we have our session?
Yes, I require a retainer of 50% of your session fee to secure your session booking. This retainer is nonrefundable in the event of cancellation or rescheduling. A contract will also be provided and signed at the time of booking to ensure that both parties understand the terms and conditions of the photography session. The contract will include details about the timeline of the shoot, the locations involved, the number of edited photos you can expect to receive, and more.
  • How many images will I receive with my session?
Each session varies, and the exact number of images you will receive will depend on a few factors such as cooperation during the shoot and the specific package you choose. Generally, my clients receive anywhere from 15-30 images, although some sessions may result in as many as 100 images. To get a more specific idea of how many images you can expect to receive with your session, check the pricing tab on my website where each session is listed with a detailed description including the approximate number of images you can expect.
  • How do I receive my images?
To make things easy for you, I upload all images onto an online gallery where you can access them at any time, with no expiration date. I want to make sure you have access to your images whenever you need them, and this is the most efficient way for me to do that.
  • Do you offer physical prints of our images?
Unfortunately, I do not offer print services. However, I understand the importance of preserving your cherished memories and am happy to recommend some great labs where you can print off your images. Reach out if you need any help selecting a lab or have any questions. I am always happy to help you preserve your beautiful memories in the best way possible.
  • Will I receive the rights to print the images you took for me?
Absolutely. I believe that my clients should have the freedom to print and share their photos without any restrictions. After each session, I provide a print release in an email along with the link to your gallery. This document authorizes you to print, copy, and share your images with your friends, family, and on social media platforms. You own the images, and I want you to enjoy them for a lifetime. My mission is to capture the beauty and personality of my clients and to provide them with high-quality, timeless portraits that they can cherish forever. By granting you the rights to print and share your images, I am giving you the opportunity to relive those special moments and share them with the people you love.
  • When should I expect to receive my images after a session?
The editing process typically takes between 2-4 hours per session, and I aim to have your gallery of images online within no longer than 14 days after your shoot. That said, I've been working efficiently lately, and many clients have received their gallery within 24-36 hours of their session! I make it a top priority to deliver your images as quickly as possible without compromising on quality. I understand how important it is for you to have your memories captured in a timely manner and I promise to communicate with you every step of the way.
